Dr. P. Subbanna Bhat, M.Tech., Ph.D. obtained his Ph. D. from IIT Kanpur, in1984 , in the area of Power Electronics, and subsequently joined the faculty of E&C Dept at NITK Surathkal till 2007. Since Aug 2007 has been with Sankalp Semiconductor Pvt Ltd..and Eklakshya VLSI R&D Center in various capacities. He is also a Professor Emeritus at BVBCET, Hubli.
Prof Bhat’s domain of interest extends from Analog and mixed Mode VLSI, Circuit Theory, Signals & Systems, Control Theory, Digital Signal Processing, Power Electronics to Indian Philosophy. Apart from training fresh recruits and professionals (engineers) at Sankalp Semiconductor Pvt Ltd., he regularly conducts Teachers Training Workshops for Teachers of Engineering Colleges.

Manjunatha has over 13 years of experience architecting/developing and implementing solutions for various domains in Telecom, Network Management Solutions, and Service Assurance Management solutions – with significant experience/detailed knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), XML Technology, Network Management and its Protocols – SNMP, TL1, CMIP, and TMF MTOSI; He has written award-winning white paper on “NMS/EMS Technology Trends” for Internal Wipro Forums.

Manjunatha’s expertise is in complete product life cycle of Enterprise application development (like, Network Management System and Element Management System Applications development for various Telecommunication Network Elements like, ATM DSLAMs and IP DSLAMs network elements).
Noteworthy projects of Manjunatha include design and development of an enterprise application for Video & Collaboration Management Solutions for Tele-Presence System and other video conference network end point devices in Cisco Systems.
He combines extremely rich technical knowledge and domain expertise in breadth and depth that helps to create extremely rich and powerful end user experience applications.
Manjunatha holds B.E in Computer Science and Engineering and has worked with Wipro Technologies and Cisco Systems.
